Plastic Smiles

She's slightly bruised
Broken and bleeding
Holding the pieces together
No ones listening to her pleading
She looks so composed
But her chest is almost hollow
Through the breaking, and seeping
She's asking for you to follow
She's slightly bruised
Wanting for you to open your eyes
Feeling so unused
Listen to her cries
She's only but a child
Faltered plastic smiles
Nowadays seem badly styled
Sitting in societies exiles

Popular Demand

Little girls parade those halls
All expecting a whisper of your voice
They swoon, and squeal almost willingly
Because you give them no choice
Your smiles sent hearts into seizures
And makes them choke on lust
They bleed, and break, and bite
With no reason to trust
With no reason to love
Watch them stare and crave
And let their jaws hang
Walk across the path they pave
Its hard to imagine you own the hearts
Of children with lacks of imagination
With only your charming smiles
Leave them filled with fascination

Perfect Little Child

Bright wide brown eyes
Perfectly perched behind light glasses
Rise and falls of full parted lips
Perfectly pouted for the swooning of masses
Your skin screams 'Touch me'
But you seem so fragile, and porcelain
So perfectly thought up off
And yet so simple and plain.
And I can't help but wonder what is hidden
Beneath the mask you've chosen to wear
I can't help but want to find out
This is why we've chosen to stare

Ryan Ross

Eyes brighter than the fullest of summers moons
Lips rode out across ever contour
Beautiful boy causing countless swoons
So perfect, and so torn
Pale skin, shadowed eyes, curtained mind
What would it cost to see beyond
Your perfect smile, and behind
Such expressionless features and cold eyes
Are you as pretty as we've made you out to be?
Or are you just like us, beaten and broken
Looking through a stained window longing to be free
You're not the boy up on a pedestal .
